Terms of service
TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms apply to purchases made from MA ATELIER through this website.
MA ATELIER
MA ATELIER is an independent jewellery practice based in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Work
MA ATELIER offers one-of-one works, limited pieces and jewellery made to order.
Each product page describes the piece being offered, including its materials, stones, dimensions or sizing where relevant, edition status and availability.
Pieces described as 1 / 1 are made as a single work and will not be reproduced as the same edition.
Because pieces are individually made and finished, very small variations may occur where appropriate to the making process. These do not alter the essential design, materials or character of the piece purchased.
Photography and renders are intended to represent each piece as accurately as possible. Colour and scale may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
Orders
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the selected piece under these terms.
An order is confirmed once payment has been accepted and an order confirmation has been issued.
If a piece becomes unavailable, has been listed incorrectly, or an error prevents the order from being fulfilled, MA ATELIER may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
For one-of-one works, availability is subject to the piece remaining unsold at the time the order is completed.
Prices & Payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website.
Any applicable taxes and shipping charges will be shown at checkout where relevant.
Payment is processed through the payment methods available at checkout. MA ATELIER does not directly store full payment-card information.
Made-to-Order & Commissioned Work
Some pieces may be produced after an order is placed. Estimated production times will be stated on the product page or confirmed after ordering.
Where jewellery is altered or created according to your individual specifications, those specifications will be agreed before work begins.
Personal engraving, bespoke redesigns and other clearly personalised work may be subject to different cancellation and withdrawal rules. Further information can be found in the Returns policy.
Delivery
Orders are dispatched from Stockholm, Sweden.
Shipping methods, insurance, delivery requirements, international duties and estimated dispatch times are described in the Shipping policy.
Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed.
Cancellations & Returns
Your rights to cancel an order, withdraw from a distance purchase or return a piece are described in the Returns policy.
Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by mandatory consumer law.
Faults & Complaints
If a piece arrives damaged, incorrect or appears to have an original fault, please contact MA ATELIER with your order details and, where helpful, photographs of the issue.
MA ATELIER will handle complaints in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Normal wear, accidental damage, improper storage or damage arising from use is not in itself considered an original fault.
Jewellery Care
Fine jewellery should be worn and stored with appropriate care.
Gold, silver, gemstones and surface finishes can naturally develop signs of wear over time. This is part of the life of the object and does not necessarily indicate a defect.
Specific care information may be supplied with individual pieces where necessary.
Intellectual Property
All jewellery designs, photographs, drawings, text, graphics and other original material appearing on this website remain the intellectual property of MA ATELIER or their respective rights holders.
Purchase of a physical piece does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights in its design.
Website content may not be reproduced, commercially used or presented as your own without prior permission.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time.
The terms that apply to your purchase are those available at the time your order is placed. Changes made later will not retrospectively alter an existing purchase.
Governing Law & Consumer Rights
These terms are governed by Swedish law.
If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under applicable law.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with MA ATELIER, a consumer may, where applicable, refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
