Refund policy

RETURNS

I hope each piece feels right when it reaches you. If you change your mind, the following applies.

Right of Withdrawal

For purchases covered by the statutory right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from the day after receiving your order to notify MA ATELIER that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

You can do this using the withdrawal function available on this website. Once you have notified MA ATELIER, the piece should be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after giving notice.

Returning a Piece

Returned jewellery should be packed carefully and, where possible, returned with the original presentation materials supplied with the piece.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer when exercising the right of withdrawal, where permitted by law and communicated before purchase.

Because of the value of the jewellery, tracked and adequately insured return shipping is strongly recommended. Please keep proof of postage until your return has been completed.

Please handle the jewellery only as much as reasonably necessary to inspect it. If a piece has been handled beyond what is necessary and its value has consequently diminished, MA ATELIER may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original method of payment within the period required by applicable law.

MA ATELIER may withhold reimbursement until the returned piece has been received, or until you provide evidence that it has been sent back.

Personalised & Specially Commissioned Work

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to jewellery made specifically according to your individual instructions or given a clearly personal character, such as personal engraving, a bespoke redesign, or other alterations made specifically for you.

A piece being made after an order is placed does not by itself remove the statutory right of withdrawal where you are choosing from MA ATELIER's standard options.

One-of-One Works

A finished one-of-one work offered for sale as shown remains subject to any statutory withdrawal rights that apply to the purchase. Its rarity alone does not make it a personalised order.

Faults & Damage

Each MA ATELIER piece is individually set, finished and polished by hand. As with any object made this way, subtle variations may be present from one piece to another and are part of its individual character.

If your piece arrives damaged or does not correspond with your order, please contact MA ATELIER as soon as possible with your order details and photographs where helpful.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
